This edition brings revolutionary features powered by the capabilities of advanced AI technology, transforming the video editing experience. One of the standout tools is Magnetic Mask, an AI-driven feature that lets users easily crop people and objects directly out of video without a green screen. This feature, therefore, offers much greater creativity because it can be combined with colour correction and video effects to allow for solid, accurate editing and modification. Another significant addition is the Transcribe to Captions feature, which uses proprietary Apple large language models to automatically generate captions and place them right on the timeline of an edit. This makes captioning easier and faster to do.

Final Cut Pro 11 also brings the capacity to edit Spatial Video. A feature that’s also exciting for users working in the Apple Vision Pro headset or in the latest iPhones that can shoot immersive spatial video is a particular aspect that enables editors to adjust depth positioning, add effects, and colour-correct footage to deliver the best results ultimately. Although the Vision Pro headset is quite too pricey and needs to be mass-market-friendly, Apple is said to be developing less expensive versions, ensuring that Spatial Video will be something most users will employ shortly.

Final Cut Pro 11 is also optimized for Apple’s M-series chips, which means the application will perform seamless playback of several 4K and 8K ProRes video streams. The integration within Apple hardware will also help editors carry out complex projects more efficiently and with less failure.
