The long wait is finally over, as the long-awaited Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone finally arrives. It brings into play an ocean of new content regarding new maps, weapons, gameplay features, and integration between the two games. When Does Season 1 Start?
Season 1 arrives on Thursday, November 14th at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. While there may be a delay or early start, this is the confirmed date to watch for.
What’s New in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer?
Multiplayer receives six new maps:
- Launch Time: Hideout, Extraction, Heirloom (all three are new).
- Mid-Season: Racket (new), Hacienda (remake), Nuketown Holiday (reskin).

Additional new things:
- Features: Hand Cannon Scorestreak, Shadow Perk, High Roller Wildcard.
- Modes: Ransack, Prop Hunt, Multiplayer Ranked.
What’s new in Zombies mode?
The Directed Mode is completed on Liberty Falls, and Terminus maps with a completed 15-round cap. Mid-season, the players will receive a new map – Avalon: Citadelle des Morts. Avalon will bring another storyline continuation for players. They are expecting new Augments, Ammo Mods, enemies, and guns, among others.

What’s new in Warzone?
The biggest change is adding the Omnimovement system in Black Ops 6, which will bring much-needed better movement in Battle Royale and Resurgence.
Additional updates include:
- A reworked loot system to improve gameplay.
- All Black Ops 6 guns are supposedly meant to dominate.
- This compact, fast-desert location is a brand new Area 99 with special features linked to Nuketown.
Ranked Play is also coming and will start with Battle Royale.

We also have new weapons across titles.
Season 1 dropped some dope weapons. On Launch:
- Krig C Assault Rifle – Balanced AR with excellent handling.
- Saug SMG – High-mobility SMG with heavy recoil.
Mid-Season:
- Maelstrom Shotgun – Full-auto shotgun with decent range and mobility.
- AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle – High-damage semi-auto snipper with low fire rate.
- Sirin 9mm Pistol – Acts like a tiny SMG.
- Power Drill – Melee with good attack speed. Cleaver – One-shot melee at moderate reach.
New attachments for weapons and conversion kits open up so much more customization.

Season 1 has a new, streamlined navigation UI, and the Battle Pass is new, rather than map-based, from the past. Players will enjoy special events, rewards, and unique Item Shop bundles, among many other things offered in one The Replacer.
