Key Updates to Microsoft 365 Copilot Features
- Copilot Pages: A new way to work with AI in a shared, interactive space, available now with full rollout by September 2024.
- Copilot in Excel: Now you can work with data more easily, including advanced analysis with Python—a programming language widely used for data science. This feature is in public preview, allowing users to forecast, analyze risks, and visualize complex data using natural language instead of coding.
- Copilot in PowerPoint: This feature helps you build presentations faster, using Narrative Builder to create a first draft based on your input. You can edit and refine the presentation easily, keeping your creative control. Soon, you’ll be able to add company branding and approved images directly to your slides.
- Copilot in Teams: Meetings are more efficient with Copilot, as it tracks both spoken words and chat conversations. If you miss any questions or ideas, Copilot can scan the transcript and chat to ensure nothing is overlooked. This feature will be available in September 2024.
- Copilot in Outlook: Overwhelmed by email? Prioritize My Inbox in Outlook helps by highlighting important messages based on your role and relationships. Copilot generates summaries of long emails, so you can quickly understand the key points. A preview of this feature will start by late 2024.
- Copilot in Word: Writing in Word is easier with Copilot, which helps pull in relevant content from other documents and apps. You’ll be able to quickly reference and integrate data, emails, and more, right into your work. These updates will roll out later in September 2024.
- Copilot in OneDrive: Copilot makes it easier to find information in your files, summarizing and comparing up to five documents at once. This feature is rolling out now and will be fully available by the end of September 2024.
Copilot Agents: Scaling Your Team with AI
