One UI 7 introduces the “Now Bar,” a new interactive lock screen feature. This widget-like addition shows countdowns for timers, control for the music player, and access to the voice recorder. Users can interact with these functions without unlocking their devices. Home screen, widgets, and quick settings tray have undergone slight redesigning for better looks and smoother navigation.

One UI 7 brings in AI improvements to make things easier. New writing tools organize notes into bullet points and summarize content, while call transcription is now built-in, supporting 20 languages. When call recording is enabled, it automatically creates transcripts for easy reference.

The camera app has been redesigned for better usability. The “More” menu now appears in a semi-transparent box at the bottom of the screen. Controls for Pro mode and other features have been placed closer to the shutter button, and the viewfinder has been enlarged for easier framing.
