New Samsung Leak Reveals Powerful Galaxy S25 Ultra Specs

For quite a while, the Galaxy S series from Samsung has been touted as promising users with solid performance in the Android market. Its mix of Exynos chipsets from Samsung and Snapdragon variants from Qualcomm will often leave fans questioning which chipset this year’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra will make its move with.

These concerns seem to be well sorted for the S25 series, which will roll out early next year. For years, users have preferred Samsung Snapdragon chipsets, as their performance is unmatched, especially in gaming and multitasking. Last year, the Galaxy S24 Ultra boasted a custom Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm that received much acclaim from the community.

Industry insider @IceUniverse reported that the Galaxy S25 lineup will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This means that a new chip is added, for example, to all S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Galaxies S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra will have Snapdragon 8 Elite; others such as Exynos 2500 and Dimensity 9400 are excluded

Galaxy S25 Ultra: Unleash the Power of Snapdragon 8 Elite

The American multinational has launched Snapdragon 8 Elite, said to be the fastest mobile CPU in the market. Snapdragon 8 Elite brings together the second-gen Qualcomm Oryon CPU, the latest Adreno GPU, and an even more advanced Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. Significant improvements in performance will provide for seamless multitasking and improved gaming.

However, in previous variants, Samsung’s utilization of both Snapdragon and Exynos processors based on regions quite often resulted in extreme performance disparity. Whereas Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets are very powerful, the Exynos options seemed to prefer more energy efficiency over power. The mixed approach was not exactly appreciated since users enjoyed more performance from Snapdragon.

However, Samsung has previously attempted to group its chipsets in its Galaxy S lineup by doing so with the Galaxy S23 series in 2023. If they repeat the same thing with the Galaxy S25 series and Qualcomm uses only the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it will be a popular choice among Samsung fanatics. This way, he would get a sense of consistency with the experience of high power regardless of the purchasing location.

Therefore, it would align with Samsung’s aim in every market: to provide top-tier performance. The Galaxy S25 lineup, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, is an update in that new direction.
